Sound.

I work as a sound designer, field recordist and a boom operator, in documentaries, fictions, tv-series, advertisements, and everything in between.

Sound Design

Most valuable skills of a sound designer for me are: Excellent management skills with a creative view.

It requires the ability to create the best components of sound, while still being inspirational and selective.

Here is a link to my sound CV.

Field recording and Boom operating

In my view, the most important qualities for a field recordist and a boom operator are empathy and presentness.

The recordist must live with of the subjects, and feel what they are feeling.

The recordist is the one who is constantly listening, thus is present.

Music

In composing I aim to build a third level to the whole artwork.

This is often done by contrasts and building ‘something bigger than’.

My music is based on samples and old forgotten pieces, which I put to the furnace to create something new.

The closest genres to my heart are trip-hop, electro and ambient soundscapes.

Mixing

Mixing is clarity, efficacy and dramaturgy.

What is the most effective way to translate a certain emotion to the viewer?

I want to understand the dramatic components of the sounds, so I can bring out their full potential.
